At our launch of Welsh Clotted Cream this week, I kept being asked whether scones should have the clotted cream on top of the jam, or should it be the jam on top. In Wales we're pretty laid back, so you can do either, but it is a truly Welsh affair if you put it on a Welsh Cake rather than a scone.
