Delivery Information & Shipping Policy V1 12.08.23

Please ensure that the shipping address and postcode is completely accurate. There are no refunds for incorrectly addressed orders once they are dispatched.

 

If you see an issue with the shipping address on your order confirmation email, forward that email to lynne@daffodilfoods.co.uk with the correction needed and your shipping label will be amended and confirmed back to you. We do not make alterations to shipping labels by telephone call, only in writing with the order number, so please do not phone or leave voice messages, they will not be actioned. 

All orders include free delivery across UK by Royal Mail track 24 next day service. Your orders are dispatched the day before your chosen delivery date using this track 24-hour service, However, this is an aim, not a guarantee. On rare occasions it may take another day for Royal Mail to deliver so we advise you to select a delivery date the day before an important date or birthday etc. You should also always choose a date a day or two before the ideal delivery date when ordering for Northern Scotland or Northern Ireland etc.

 

We do not offer refunds or resends for gifts that arrive a day later than Royal Mail’s 24 track service aim – the gift box contents are designed to withstand 48 hours in transit before delivery.
 

On very rare occasions when there are supply issues, adverse weather or a problem with a depot we reserve the right to substitute items or change delivery dates.
 

The purchaser of the gifts has tracking information provided by email. When the parcel is delivered Royal Mail will update their tracking information with a photograph of where the parcel has been delivered to, which may be a place they deem safe to leave it. They do not put a card through the door. The sender must update the recipient to make sure that they are aware the delivery has been made. If there is more than a day's delay to the delivery it is the responsibility of the purchaser to let the recipient know that the fresh clotted cream should not be consumed as it will have been out of chill for too long.

If there are issues with your delivery

Use the tracking email, to track your parcel. If you think that it has been delivered to the wrong address, let us know immediately by sending an email to lynne@daffodilfoods.co.uk with your order number/tracking email. Do not telephone. It needs to be in writing so that it can be investigated.
 

If the tracking link is showing that the parcel is in a depot, it may be delivered the following day. Please allow 2-days from receiving the tracking email for the delivery to happen before getting in touch with us and in the meantime please check that the address including the postcode is correct.
